About the breeder

Old Glory Kennels was established with a lot of hard work. We were part of Dogwood Hollow

which has been retired. They were breeding for over 25 years, and I was fortunate to learn so

much from them and have some great foundation lines.

We are dedicated preservation breeders of the Brittany. We are breeders of merit through AKC.

We strive to breed the best quality dogs while staying dedicated to the Ethical breeding

practices set forth by the American Brittany Club. We do are best to produce dogs that

represent our breed standard in type, style and temperament. The Brittany is a very versatile

dog and can excel in multiple venues and that is what we want to see.

We do not breed just to produce puppies; we breed for ourselves first. We do not just breed to

breed. We do not produce a litter until we are ready to add to our own breeding program. That

could be once a year or maybe 2-3 years before we produce a litter.

All dogs in our breeding program are health tested for the appropriate health clearances. This

testing can be found on the Orthopedic Foundation for animals. All dogs are DNA tested and

from champion titled parents. Most dogs have basic hunting titles, and some are more

advanced. Titles on both ends are never a bad thing in this breed.
